Bioproducts, Incorporated, a leader in the animal nutrition industry, headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio, is currently recruiting for a Research Scientist at our Naperville, Illinois Research and Development facility.

The Research Scientist position is accountable for providing the technical expertise by exploring and developing new technologies that would lead to innovative product development and product improvement of pet food flavors. Understanding of the relationship between palatability and textural characteristics or ingredient interactions of kibble. Ability to specifically develop a unique dry flavor system for pet food applications. Implement processes that provide Bioproducts a technological advantage, which enhances our position as the recognized world leader and supplier of pet food flavors.

We require a minimum of Ph.D. in Food Science plus one to three year’s experience in Ingredient Functionality, Flavor Chemistry, or Flavor Development, and a broad technical knowledge on multi-disciplines in the pet or human food industry. This candidate should also possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications, creativity, be innovative and a team player.
