We don't recommend alum for pickle making, however I have had several calls this summer on using alum for pickles.

I run across a box of Swan's Alum. no company address. can anyone tell me if this company is still producing alum.?

where can you pruchase alum now?

what are the compounds in alum?

granulated alum -vs- powder alum . If you have 2 TBS. powder and on hand you have granulated. How much should she use? > thank you for your help
