Domestic manufacturers with fewer than 10 full-time equivalent employees and fewer than 10,000 units of any food product (per product) per year would qualify for an exemption from food labeling. Although nutrition labeling would not be required - I would highly suggest the use of an ingredient legend for allergen identification purposes, since you could be help liable if allergens were included in your product and not identified in some way. Another exemption would be for in-store/Deli product that are portioned, decorated or otherwise finished off and sold at the deli for immediate consumption.
