A Hospitality Company’s New “Bon Appetit!” Package Includes a Four-Course Gourmet Feast Served by a Personal Chef During a Weekly Stay in New York
New York, NY – July 26, 2001 The dinner party trend is alive and well and experiencing a revival. Broadway shows including “The Man Who Came to Dinner”, “Dinner with Friends,” and “The Dinner Party” are all now or have recently been featured in New York, and generation X is beginning to realize attending sophisticated intimate dinner parties is a refreshing alternative to frequenting trendy (and expensive) Manhattan bars and cafes.
Enter A Hospitality Company (AHC), New York City’s leading specialists of short and long-term furnished apartment rentals, with a new offer for a seven-night package called “Bon Appetit!” Priced at $1350 for a one bedroom or $2150 for a two bedroom deluxe Midtown apartment, the Bon Appetit package is designed to coax local and visitors alike to take up the offer of a ‘to-die-for’ gourmet four-course evening feast prepared and served by a personal chef ‘at home’ as a novel enhancement to spending a vacation week in Manhattan.
This is how it works: Book a deluxe apartment through AHC for a minimum of one week and at no extra charge, on the night of your choice during your stay, a personal chef will arrive to prepare, cook, and serve a magnificent four-course dinner for four in the comfort of your apartment. You can select the menu by communicating with the chef directly in advance.
The evening meal could be, for example:
Appetizer: Scallops with avocado mousse
Salad: Arugula with wild mushrooms and pancetta
Entrée: Seared peppered tuna with sautéed spinach, shallot jus and crispy potatoes
Dessert: Profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
Everything (except beverages) is taken care of by your personal chef, including the odious task of doing the dishes!
“Want to spend a romantic or intimate evening in, dining on haute cuisine and leave the shopping, preparing, and tidying up to someone else? Bon Appetit is the ultimate culinary indulgence and a nice contrast to eating out all the time,” said Allison Jurjens, Director of Marketing for A Hospitality Company. Visitors staying in a deluxe one- or two-bedroom apartment have dinner for four included, and may entertain a total of up to six people. “New York is known for its clubs and restaurants, but there comes a time when you crave the intimacy of a small group as opposed to a cast of thousands, and that’s when our Bon Appetit dinner party package fits the bill.”
