raking its restaurants over the coals, but the critic says he

Genetically-Modified Foods
Citing Third World Humanitarian concerns, the Bush
Administration has asked the World Trade Organization to break
the European Union's five-year de facto moratorium on the
importation of new genetically-modified food products, or GMOs.

5. Success is sweet as Tate & Lyle profits rise
SUGAR and sweetener group Tate & Lyle today reported an 18
per cent rise in annual profits and said growth this year
would depend on improving efficiency, cutting costs and
driving sales of branded products.

6. Happy meals a big McDonald's score
McDonald's, the world's largest hamburger chain, said U.S.
sales rose 6.3% last month, the biggest surge in four years,
driven by demand for Happy Meals and new items like salads
with Newman's Own dressings. Shares of McDonald's surged 9.2%
to a nine-month high of $21.06.
